First-time onboarding generally takes 2–3 weeks to complete training, setup, and build work. Clients resuming after a pause may onboard faster depending on how long they were paused and their situation.
If using the Ampd Works CRM, A2P 10DLC verification must be completed. This typically takes 7–10 days and is controlled by a third party.
This is a carrier verification process all new Ampd Works CRM users must complete. Once verified, you can send texts through the CRM — one of the most important features for lead conversion. Many closed deals start with a text conversation. This is a legal requirement for all modern phone systems — not something we've chosen. Since it's controlled by a third party, we cannot guarantee timing.

AMPD CRM automations pause when a lead replies. You should manually unpause them if:
When a lead replies, a tag called paused-replied is applied. When it is removed, the campaign resumes. See below. If you ever need to manually pause a lead, just add that tag back by typing in the Tag Box and selecting it.

These are the habits that separate top performers from everyone else. Make them automatic.
Whether they answer or not — always follow up with a quick text after every call attempt.
Call twice back-to-back immediately if they don't answer on the first attempt. It's better to double-dial fewer leads than to single-dial more. Pick-up rates increase significantly.
If a lead says they're free at 7pm, schedule a text for 6:30pm: "Is 7 still good for our quick call?" — It keeps them accountable and gives you a heads-up if they need to reschedule.
Even when leads self-book or your call team books appointments — don't wait. Try calling leads as soon as possible after an appointment is scheduled. You'll get more pickups and move deals forward faster. No-shows happen, and sometimes leads disappear for good.
Never send an application by email or text. Always get it while you're on the call. If you stay on the phone and guide them through it, you'll convert ~50% of borrowers to applications. If you send it after the call, expect closer to 10–15%. This one habit alone can quadruple your application rate.
Deliver loan terms verbally on the call whenever possible. This gives you the chance to strengthen rapport, explain costs and options, and show up as a consultant — not just a vendor. You'll get 2–3X more commitments this way. Only send terms by email as a last resort, and ideally while still on the phone so you can walk them through it.
Always respond — even just "Perfect, I'll call you then." Letting hours pass can derail a conversation that was about to take off.
Keep all communication in one place. Automations help, but phone calls convert. About 10–15% of leads will only respond by phone.
Personalize outreach with their own details and screenshots of their form. It jogs their memory and builds instant credibility.
There is "pure gold" in aged leads. Once you have 300+, start reworking them. We always see closed deals when clients actually do this.
Investor leads average ~90 days to close. Not hearing back within a week doesn't mean a lead is dead — that's a common misconception.
